Description

Spectrophotometer CM-17d / CM-16d

The Konica Minolta Spectrophotometer CM-17d and Spectrophotometer CM-16d, successors of the widely popular CM-700d and CM-600d models, respectively, bring enhanced accuracy and reliability to digital color measurement and management. With new and improved features, these spectrophotometers are suited for a range of industries, including plastics, consumer electronics, paints and coatings, automotive interior, personal care, and more, offering superior performance in color analysis and quality control.

These spectrophotometers offer high inter-instrument agreement (IIA) and repeatability, ensuring that colors are accurately and consistently communicated and reproduced from suppliers to manufacturers of the final product. In particular, the Spectrophotometer CM-17d features an inter-instrument agreement (IIA) and repeatability of ΔE*ab < 0.12 and ΔE*ab < 0.02, respectively, offering reliable and consistent color measurement across the global supply chain. Moreover, while maintaining compatibility with previous models, these spectrophotometers offer improved accuracy in measuring black color and boast a faster measurement speed, enhancing productivity and efficiency.

The Spectrophotometer CM-17d and Spectrophotometer CM-16d maintain the vertical alignment design for ergonomic comfort and easy sample placement. These portable color measurement instruments come with various measuring apertures, suitable for measuring samples of different sizes, including samples with shaped or curved surfaces. One standout feature, the camera viewfinder, available with the Spectrophotometer CM-17d, provides a live preview of the measurement target for easy positioning. Both spectrophotometers also offer the option of a wireless LAN/Bluetooth module for effortless data transfer and connectivity.

Augment your setup with a convenient screw/tripod hole at the front of both spectrophotometers, enabling straightforward installation of custom adapters/jigs or robotic arms. These spectrophotometers integrate seamlessly into automated systems, boosting productivity and efficiency in manufacturing and quality control operations. Notably, the Spectrophotometer CM-17d is equipped with a new cradle* that facilitates zero calibration and charging. It also features a dedicated compartment for storing the white calibration cap. An optional custom adapter/jig is also available to support measurements in an upside-down orientation, making these spectrophotometers even more versatile.

The Spectrophotometer CM-17d and Spectrophotometer CM-16d are backed by various software to enhance functionality. The Configuration Tool CM-CT1 software simplifies setups and ensures measurement standardization across sites. Further enhancing functionality is the optional SpectraMagic NX2 software, equipped with custom illuminants and color formulas, data tagging, QC template sharing, and more. These spectrophotometers also boast the Wavelength Analysis & Adjustment (WAA) function that checks and corrects any wavelength shift during each calibration, ensuring optimum measurement conditions.
